In short
Slash Digital Lab develops the software behind DOOH (digital out-of-home) networks: platforms, API integrations and real-time data, CMS, playout systems, monitoring and interactive applications. Advertising campaign management, media strategy and media buying are not part of our work: we build the technology that turns each screen into useful information (bus arrivals, weather, air quality, wayfinding) and interactive experiences.

Evidence: the information platform for JCDecaux and Transmilenio in Bogotá, the 3D wayfinding at Cardales de Cayalá (Guatemala) and the software of experiences like Cartier Trinity across three countries. To verify that content reached every screen: computer vision.

What we deliver

## The DOOH software we develop

Data, playout and interaction on one platform, with the technical management an urban network demands.

01

### Screen platforms

Custom software for DOOH networks: data service, player and back office, with per-location SLAs.

02

### APIs and real-time data

Integration of urban APIs (transit, weather, air) served to hundreds of screens at low latency.

03

### CMS, playout and monitoring

Content management, playout scheduling and technical monitoring of every totem.

04

### Interactive applications

Touch interfaces, 3D wayfinding, QR handoff to mobile and phygital experiences.

How we work

Frequently asked questions

## The questions we hear often

**Are you a screen vendor?**
No: we build the digital layer that makes screens useful for brands and cities.

**Does it work for events?**
Yes: live mosaics, participation and moderation (see Peoplesnap).

**Do you manage advertising campaigns?**
No: media strategy, campaign creation and media buying stay with the network operator or its agency. We integrate the CMS and playout systems with their scheduling and media provider.

**How many screens can the platform take?**
The reference network exceeds 3,000 and is built to grow.

**How do you measure performance?**
Per-screen availability, interaction and technical reports per location, delivered regularly.

**What do you need to start a DOOH network?**
Your network inventory: screens, locations, connectivity and owners, which we document at the start. We're not a screen vendor; on that network we set up the data service, player and CMS, with per-location SLAs, then the content templates powered by live data.

**What technology runs behind the screens?**
A platform with a data service, player and CMS: urban transit, weather and air-quality APIs served at low latency, dynamic templates, 3D maps with QR handoff to mobile and per-totem monitoring. The reference network in Bogotá exceeds 3,000 screens.

**Do you use cameras in front of the screens?**
Only with consent: QR, touch and camera interaction are designed that way. When computer vision is involved, we count without recognizing anyone and apply Law 1581 and the SIC's video-surveillance guide in Colombia, with a visible notice, a defined purpose and short retention.
