In short
Slash Digital Lab develops iOS and Android apps from Bogotá, and a production app is more than a companion: onboarding, notifications, offline, analytics and a release cycle. We publish to the App Store and Google Play and keep the app alive with your team.

Evidence: the official app of Colombia Tech Fest and the full Flutter app for Réseau Mazette (iOS and Android). For AI on the phone itself: small models on device. The rest of the product: digital products and web applications.

What we deliver

## What a Slash app includes

We choose the stack by the case: Flutter when it sustains the product, native when the device demands it.

01

### Cross-platform Flutter

One codebase, two stores; native-grade performance for community products.

02

### Native when it matters

Native iOS/Android for advanced capabilities: camera, sensors, payments.

03

### Embedded AI

Copilots, recommendation and moderation inside the app.

04

### Stores & releases

Publishing, versioning, review cycles and an update plan.

How we work

## From idea to the stores

-

### Discovery

Users, use cases and store constraints, defined in writing.

-

### Prototype

The flow tested with real users before building everything.

-

### Build & beta

Sprints with TestFlight and Play Console internal testing.

-

### Launch

Publication, analytics, notifications and a release plan.

Frequently asked questions

## The questions we hear often

**Native or cross-platform?**
Mostly Flutter, which compiles native iOS and Android apps from a single codebase; fully native development when the case needs specific capabilities.

**Do you publish to the stores for us?**
Yes: listings, screenshots and the review process included.

**PWA instead of an app?**
When the case allows it (see Peoplesnap); a web app skips stores entirely.

**Post-launch support?**
Yes: two months of support included after delivery; after that, releases, hotfixes and a priority-driven roadmap on the support plan you choose.

**Notifications and chat?**
Yes: segmented push and messaging, as in the Tech Week app.

**How long does store publishing take?**
Leave weeks, not days. Apple says it reviews most submissions in under 48 hours, but on Google Play a personal developer account created after November 13, 2023 first needs a closed test with at least 12 testers for at least 14 days.

**How do users get in, and what happens to their data?**
Through controlled access. In the Colombia Tech Fest app, every account starts from an invitation code and the guest accepts the privacy policy; in Réseau Mazette, members sign in with their website credentials. If the app lets people create accounts, it must let them delete them in the app: Apple and Google Play require it.

**How long does it take to build an app?**
It starts with a two-week discovery that sets the scope; then we work in two-week sprints with a demo, so you see the app grow on your phone. Add store review time and, after delivery, two months of included support. As a reference, we built the Colombia Tech Week iOS and Android app, used by 14,000 people, in 2 months.

**How much does an app cost?**
We quote every project precisely and to measure, after discovery. As a reference, a native iOS and Android app starts at around €10,000; the scope sets the final price.
